Elder Tuan Bernardus (CHAR_0016) — keeper of the untwisted proverb register, the true-voice foil to the twisted-word sorcerer; a council elder and ally. The village roster — Elder Rato (CHAR_0009), Weaver-Elder Ibu Martina (CHAR_0018), Trade-Envoy Tuan Yosef (CHAR_0019), Hunter-Father Pak Petrus (CHAR_0020), Peer Agnesius (CHAR_0021), and Musician Pak Kornelius (CHAR_0022) — the protected community, teachers and neighbours, never targets. Weaver Woman Emma (CHAR_0010) — met at Ch 2 and present through the Ch-3 village hub as the hands-on Trade-6 teacher at the loom, working under Ibu Martina's pattern authority (Martina keeps the Trade-6 seat); she is the one who reads the concealment cloth as tied wrong and re-ties it, so the chapter's concealment-as-craft turn passes through her hands. A teacher and neighbour, never a target. Hunter Anselmus (CHAR_0011) — the uncorrupted Manggarai hunter and the audible counter to the Ch-2 corrupted hunter, present through the Ch-3 hub as the tracking teacher, the caci-entry explainer who points the protagonist at Ana, and the keeper of the ebu-gogo three-tellings; a teacher and neighbour, never a target. Child Teresa (CHAR_0012) — the Ch-2 first peer, present through the Ch-3 hub as the village guide who teaches the everyday grammar of a living landscape (walk at the side, not the middle) and who finds the first unsigned mark by where the protagonist sleeps; she is rooted here and does not travel on. Roster note (declared, not inherited): CHAR_0010, CHAR_0011 and CHAR_0012 were stamped Ch_02-only in T0_Character_Index while CH_02 itself states the Manggarai village-society opens fully at Ch 3, and the Ch-3 hub dialogue set gives all three substantial Ch-3 presence. The stamp was the stale artifact; chapters_present is re-seated to Ch_02;Ch_03 in the same commit as the dialogue, so the re-seat is declared canon rather than an undeclared drift a later agent would hallucinate around.
